POSITION TITLE:  Systems Engineer: Citrix & Windows Environment (Positon Filled)

BROAD FUNCTION:

Responsible for implementation, operations, and management of complex enterprise systems, integrating a variety of platforms, operating systems, and applications at client site.


PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITES & ACTIVITIES: 

  • Operate complex and diverse technology systems running on Microsoft Operating Systems.  Participate and recommend design alternatives.
  • Design and operate corporate-wide Citrix environment
  • Manage corporate backup policies including the design, daily backup monitoring and reporting, retention policies, and additions as new systems are introduced
  • Support projects by providing backup/snaps as required
  • Support Infrastructure Engineers by performing maintenance duties across VMWare Virtualization, Storage Environments, Data Center Operations and Microsoft Office Operating Systems
  • Manage infrastructure projects including but not limited to Citrix, Microsoft OS and Backup/Recovery
  • Monitor performance of servers, backups and Citrix
  • Develop and maintain systems documentation, including diagrams, Standard Operating Procedures, and work instructions
  • Assist in the development, testing and support of the Disaster Recovery Plan

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES

  • Focused on optimizing network, bandwidth issues and design.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The IT Manager of End User Computing (EUC) is responsible for the IT Service Desk, Desktop Services, select Security services, and Web business systems. The position is responsible for the IT front-office (level 1) customer service function for all 350+ employees and 20+ facilities across the New England region. The position oversees a work-force of five employees’ and another four+ 3rd party IT vendors with a combined capital/expense budget of approximately $1.5M. The role is part of the IT management team and reports to the Director of IT.   

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage Service Desk function – includes intake, prioritization, and response to all incident/change requests (approx. 750+/month). These duties also include operating our IT service management processes (incident, change), our ITSM tools, and call reporting metrics.
  • Oversee Desktop Services – includes EUC hardware (desktop, laptop, tablet, MFP/printer, smart phones) and association software (PC images, office productivity, business applications, etc). These duties also include new deployments/releases, upgrades, relocations, security patching, and maintenance/repairs.
  • Perform Security/risk activities – includes End User access controls (Network, SAP), IT general control audits (& remediation plans), and our IT security policies.
  • Perform Web development activities – develop/support of our client’s Internet/Intranet systems, life-cycle/refresh of components, and associated enhancements to existing systems.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Applications Manager is responsible for IT business applications (ERP, GIS, LIMS, mobile, etc) and the underlying data management platforms (databases, exchanges/interfaces, data warehouse, reporting). The position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the enterprise Tier1 systems as-well as departmental systems. The Applications Manager is responsible for corresponding IT projects; business case, financials, project milestones, resource plans, documentation, and associated staff/consultants. The position oversees a work-force of five employees’ and six+ 3rdparty IT vendor contracts with a combined capital/expense budget of approximately $5.5M.The Applications Manager is part of the IT senior management team and reports directly to the Director of Information Technology.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop application/data roadmap of key initiatives in IT business plan that support the strategies and goals of each department and the overall company

Overview: 

This career position is a key senior role with our client that will continue to hone your Microsoft Dynamics and Azure cloud architecture and technical skills while providing the opportunity to drive the strategy and growth of our client, an important new ERP offering focused on the large law firm market.

 

Our client leverages Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations (‘New AX’ or ‘AX 7’) with legal domain extensions and configuration to support global large law firms.  The Dynamics AX Lead Architect role would play a key role in building out our client’s business model as well as helping define and implement an effective service delivery model.  This individual will actively engage on projects with multiple concurrent clients within the large law market, and includes estimated 50% travel. 

Responsibilities:

  • Architect lead for our client’s end client’s Microsoft Dynamics AX projects in the large law domain

Candidates must have experience in at least three of the following: threat databases, technique generators, PRI tracking, RF path analysis, digital RF memory (DRFM). Candidates must have experience in electronic attack/electronic protection (EA/EP). Experience in simulation and analysis tools (such as MATLAB) is required.

Desired skills:

Experience with US Navy surface electronic warfare systems is desired. Expertise in performance analysis, system definition, requirements analysis, and flowdown of systems requirements with direction and interpretation to hardware and software is also desired.


Security Clearance:

Secret clearance desired.
